Penne Pasta | Creamy Parmesan - Garlic Penne

Penne Pasta is a type of pasta that has a cylindrical shape. Pasta is a traditional dish in Italian Cuisine. There are wide varieties of pasta, and there are so many recipes that we can make out of these pastas. Today, I am sharing the recipe for a Creamy Parmesan - Garlic Penne Pasta.

INGREDIENTS:

  1. Penne Pasta - 3 cups
  2. Garlic -5 - 8  pods
  3. Green Bell Pepper - 2 tsp
  4. Milk - 1 cup
  5. Cinnamon - 1 stick
  6. Parmesan Cheese - as needed
  7. Salt - to taste
  8. Butter - 2 tbsp
  9. Pepper - 2 tsp
  10. Paprika - 1/8 tsp
  11. Oregano - 1 tsp
  12. Parsley - 1 tsp
  13. Water

PREPARATION: 

Cook Penne Pasta as directed in the pack with some salt. Cook until the pasta is soft. Drain and keep it apart. 

In a pan add butter.  Melt the butter and add the minced garlic and cinnamon stick. Let the flavor of the garlic get infused into the butter. Now add the sliced bell pepper in small dice to it and saute for a minute. Now add the spices, paprika, and pepper. Saute for 2 minutes. Now add the milk and stir continuously. Add salt as needed. Stir in the milk, until it becomes thick and creamy. You can add flour to make it thicker, but I skipped it. Add parmesan cheese while stirring the milk. 

Once the milk is thick, add the cooked penne to it. Saute in the ingredients and let the pasta get soft absorbing the milk. Add the seasonings, oregano, and parsley, and mix well. Add salt if needed and it is ready. 

You can add boiled chicken with some pepper and salt. You can add vegetables like mushrooms, and broccoli and make the sauce flavored with tomato puree. But I prefer this garlic-parmesan combination, it's the best!
