INGREDIENTS:

  1. Boneless Chicken - 500 gms
  2. Green Chilli - 3
  3. Garlic - 8 cloves
  4. Capsicum - 2 tbsp
  5. Coriander Leaves - as needed
  6. Paprika - 1/2 tsp
  7. Pepper - 1 tsp
  8. Turmeric Powder - 1/8 tsp
  9. Chicken Masala - 1/4 tsp
  10. Mozzarella Cheese - as needed
  11. Salt - to taste
  12. Egg - 1
  13. Bread Crumbs - 2 cups
  14. Oil - for deep frying

PREPARATION:

Clean the boneless chicken pieces well. In a mixer, add the chicken, green chillies, and garlic. Mince the meat well so that you can make balls out of it.

Now slice the capsicum into tiny dices. You can skip this step, I like to have a crunchy element. If you like adding veggies, you can go with carrots, and onion or even you can add mashed potatoes.

Now add some freshly chopped coriander leaves and the sliced capsicum to a bowl and mix well with the minced chicken mix. Now add salt, pepper, paprika, turmeric powder, and chicken masala to it. Add 2 tbsp of bread crumbs to the mix for better binding. Add some grated mozzarella cheese for the cheese pull once you bite the donuts. Combine everything well and set it aside for half an hour.

Now coming to the frying part. Roll the minced chicken into a ball shape, press and flatten between your palms and form a small hole in between with your fingers and make it into the shape of cute little donuts. Coat the donut in the beaten egg and then cover it with bread crumbs.

Heat oil in a pan. Once it is hot, add the chicken donuts and fry on both sides on low flame until it is crispy and golden brown. Fry them in batches and keep them on tissue paper so that it absorbs excess oil.

Serve hot with some mayo or ketchup. Make this tasty, crunchy, and cheesy chicken donut at home, and comment if you liked it.
